General Sampling Procedure

SAMPLING AND SHIPMENT

The sampling stage directly affect the quality of the analytical results. It’s your responsibility to ensure the quality of the sampling, conservation and proper transportation of them, following these instructions.

PROCEDURE FOR SAMPLES DEPOSIT AT THE LABORATORY

If you bring your samples to the laboratory, please report to the laboratory front door at 4760 Martineau Street, St-Hyacinthe, J2R 1V1 between 7:30 am and 10:30 pm. (Please ring after 5pm)

BAGS

Please use the sampling bags supplied by the laboratory. If you can’t, a Ziploc type bag is ok.

RUSH SAMPLES: Please put your sample into a bag with red pouch.

SAMPLING           

ALWAYS SEND A FORM PER BAG

 

STANDARD TESTING: Send the sample with the form.

-  MANY SAMPLES: Please numbered your bags and write the same number on the form.

TURNAROUND: turnaround time starts the next day of receiving.

RUSH SAMPLES: if we receive your sample after 11 am it is considered as received as of the next day. Only where rush option is checked will be analyzed with that turnaround time, a red bag is not enough.

MOLD PRODUCTS: In order to ensure our employees heath, these samples will not be tested.

WASTE: Be careful to remove all waste from your samples (rope, rock or plastic, etc.).

COMPLETE with a ballpoint pen (no lead pencil). Always use your best writing or electronic version. Don’t forget to uncheck unnecessary boxes on the electronic form. ex.: toxins, last product code sent, etc.

Please put the form into the pouch provided for this purpose
