Microbiological Feed Analyze Sampling Procedure

SAMPLING AND SHIPMENT

The sampling stage directly affect the quality of the analytical results. It’s your responsibility to ensure the quality of the sampling, conservation and proper transportation of them, following these instructions.

PROCEDURE FOR SAMPLES DEPOSIT AT THE LABORATORY

If you bring your samples at the laboratory, you’ll have to use the delivery door on the right side of the office. Please ring the bell and once the door is open, drop off your samples and sign the register affixed inside the door.

BAGS

Please use the sampling bags supplied by the laboratory. If you can’t, a Ziploc type bag is ok.

SAMPLING

STANDARD TESTING: Send the sample with the form.

 MANY SAMPLES: Please numbered your bags and write the same number on the form.

WASTE: Be careful to remove all waste from your samples (rope, rock or plastic, etc.).

SALMONELLA-YEAST-MOLD: Send a specific sample for this kind of analyze, join it whit the microbiology form. No sample separation will be done at the laboratory.

ALL WET OR REFRIGERATED PRODUCTS: Store between 2-8 °C until arrival at the laboratory.

 QUANTITY REQUIRED: Send at least 75 g per test requested. (For raw meats, raw poultry, fruit and vegetable products, a minimum of 375 g is required for salmonella analysis.)
